If you missed Apple’s September 10th Special Event and/or haven’t had a chance to watch a replay of the Apple Keynote, here’s what we learned . . .
Apple’s new gaming subscription service, Apple Arcade, offering unlimited access to over 100+ games, will be available beginning on September 19th. The gaming subscription service will cost $4.99 per month and will cover your entire family. Apple will include a one-month free trial.
By now, you’ve probably seen the trailer for the upcoming Apple TV+ series The Morning Show with Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell. During the Keynote, Apple premiered the trailer for the upcoming series See with Jason Momoa. The first shows on Apple TV+ will be available starting November 1st. Like Apple Arcade, the Apple TV+ subscription service will cost $4.99 per month and will cover your entire family. In addition, Apple will offer a free year of Apple TV+ with the purchase of a new Apple device (ex: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV).
Apple announced the replacement of the 6th generation 9.7-inch iPad with a brand new 7th generation 10.2-inch iPad featuring a Retina Display, A10 Fusion chip, Smart Connector, support for Apple Pencil (1st generation), the Smart Keyboard and lightning compatible external storage. The new 10.2-inch iPad will be available in 32GB and 128GB Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular models. The starting price for the new iPad will be $329 and will be available on September 30th. Apple is accepting orders starting today.
Apple Watch Series 5
The next generation of Apple Watch is here! Apple announced Apple Watch Series 5 with a new Always-On Retina Display so you can always see the watch face. No longer do you need to wake the watch face to see the time and complications. The Apple Watch Series 5 still offers all-day battery life, will feature a built-in compass and international emergency calling (if you have a cellular-capable model). Apple Watch Series 5 GPS only models will start at $399 and the GPS + Cellular models will start at $499. Apple is accepting orders today and the Apple Watch Series 5 will be available on September 20th.

What is an Apple September Special Event without new iPhones?
Apple announced three new iPhones – the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max as this year’s successors to last year’s iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, respectively. The iPhone 11 features a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina Display, A13 Bionic chip, third-generation Neural Engine, dual camera system with a 12MP wide camera + 12MP ultra-wide camera, Night mode for low light situations, Quick Take which will allow you to take video while in photo mode without the need to switch to video mode, a 12MP TrueDepth front-side camera, one hour of additional battery life over the iPhone XR, will be available in six colors and more.
The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max features a new pro design with textured matte glass and stainless steel, 5.8-inch (iPhone 11 Pro) and 6.5-inch (iPhone 11 Pro Max) Super Retina XDR Displays, A13 Bionic chip, third-generation Neural Engine, triple camera system with a 12MP wide camera + 12MP ultra-wide camera + 12MP telephoto camera, a 12MP TrueDepth front-side camera, four hours of additional battery life over the iPhone XS (for the iPhone 11 Pro) and five hours of additional battery life over the iPhone XS Max (for the iPhone 11 Pro Max), comes in four colors, includes an 18W charger and more.
The new iPhone 11 will start at $699, the iPhone 11 Pro will start at $999 and the iPhone 11 Pro Max will start at $1,099. Apple will begin accepting orders on September 13th and the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max will be available on September 20th.
iOS 13, watchOS 6, iPadOS and macOS Catalina
While not mentioned during the Keynote, Apple has posted release dates for iOS 13, watchOS 6, iPadOS and macOS Catalina on the Apple website. iOS 13 and watchOS 6 will be available on September 19th, iPadOS will be available on September 30th and macOS Catalina will be available in October 2019.
